Waterform Technologies recommended and installed an ultraBiox™ biological wastewater treatment upgrade to improve the existing system’s capacity and efficiency. This solution involved removing three old aerators, repositioning two existing units, and introducing four new Fuchs Oxystar Spiral Aerators. These German-made surface aspirators combine superior oxygen transfer with effective mixing and minimal maintenance. The installation was completed just in time for the 2016 vintage, ensuring that the winery could meet the increased wastewater demands without disrupting operations.

The ultraBiox™ solution delivered outstanding results for the winery during the 2017 vintage, achieving a 40% increase in treatment output while using 10% less power compared to the previous vintage. This not only avoided a $50,000 power upgrade but also met all performance requirements. The significant power and cost savings, combined with the increased treatment capacity, made the ultraBiox™ solution an ideal fit for wineries with existing treatment lagoons.
